They've moved to the playhouse outside, and they're doing great. They're the biggest of my bantam babies, but they look SO tiny compared to the 3wk older standard chicks they're out there with. It is still looking like I have a pair. One baby's crest is looking like a mohawk, and the others is looking more full. I'll get pics.
I still haven't come up with good names for them. I don't think my husband will be happy if I want to keep the cockerel, so it would really be best if they're both pullets. But I doubt it...
This is the one I think is the pullet.
And this one you can see the difference in their little crests pretty well. I couldn't get them both looking at me at the same time, silly babies.
The one that I think is a pullet has less feathers on its chest, and has feathered out a little more slowly than the other. It's crests that I'm watching. My polish in the past have had mohawks on the boys early on, while the girls grew a nice fluffy do much more quickly. So I'm thinking these crests are like my polish babies crests have been.
