Anyone impatiently waiting for your baby chicks to arrive?!?!

I got a tracking number and they have only moved 30 mins away from the hatchery and haven't moved or status updated since 2:49 ! I did sign up for the text updates and still showing them in same place. I don't think I'll ever have chicks shipped again. I'm beginning to think this whole process is cruel. It's no wonder so many chicks die, even if my chicks arrive healthy and live I'm just going to purchase from feed stores from now on.

i had mine in the brooder for about 4 hours before USPS ever updated the tracking. mine showed "Departed from MO" for 2 days. I didn't even receive the updates in order, over an hour or so, once they finally updated it.

That must be the same situation here, there is no way they can still be sitting at same place. Well at least I know that I have only one more day to wait !

Yes I know this, doesn't matter to me where the chicks come from. The good thing about going to the store is that they are already there and I can pick them out. According to the tracking # and text alerts they have not moved. I'm hoping that isn't true, if they arrive dead then I'll just go to the stores and get what I want they have what I ordered. We will see tomorrow.
Yes, USPS is not the best at updating tracking information. I have had packages delivered and had not even shown picked up from vendor.

It's actually instantaneous, somehow there is a lag between their system and the one that updates the online system though...

They've arrived!!!! Does it look like there are 2 chickens with a stripe down the back? I asked my husband how many chickens are there and he asked how many I ordered I said 6 and he said there are 6. I don't think he counted.

Brooder is built (pictures tonight), heat lamp will go on either tomorrow or Thursday and the chicks should be here by Friday!! So excited!!!!
