I lost a silkie roo and allot of previous chickens to a possum we finally took care of. Now we have a stray dog!!! He killed three of mine. I'm not happy at all

Did you fix oppossum stew like Granny Clampett? Lol. I have one lurking here too. We may have opposum tacos soon! Lol

No, I'm a total sissy! I screamed when hubby shot it the first time lol I'm just glad he's gone! I hope nothing comes back any time soon..... I love my birds and I hate seeing them get hurt or turned up missing

Does anyone want any black game bantam chicks? They just hatched, I wanted to see if the eggs were fertile lol. They are. Or game bantams in general? I have one black too, one black hen, and like 2 blond colored hens

I thought having a muff and the colored legs meant americaunas. I don't know. LOl. Greens feed n seed says they are americaunas. Of course they also said they were all pullets. If so, I have a very confused girl who crows, breeds the hens and is the picture of a handsome americaunas rooster. Lol

The other person I promised marans eggs too is on this thread as well. Lol. You know who you are...remind this old man. Lol. I have blue eggs if anyone wants some to hatch as well. The chickens are muffed with slate/olive legs, but I've been told they're not americaunas...which is what I paid for from the feed store. Grrr...

Psst...don't tell anyone, but I can't kill anything either. My handy dandy critter killer calls me a girl. Ugh. But whatever...he's usually holding a gun when he says it so, a girl I'll be...grin. But I'm a Grandfather!!!

I don't know how protective he is, but he's huge! Could be worth a try he's hanging in my barn now, I'll lock him up if you want him so nothing gets him
