Anyone in WV???

Oh you are too nice but I am sure you have people closer to you just dying for those eggs. I mean marans and cream legbars are nearly impossible to get. I love having colored layers.

Oh no...besides you, there is only one other person I'm sharing eggs with. You're very welcome to a good hatchable dozen. That's what WV folk do. Grin. Of course, will be late spring before I get any eggs from them, and I'm old, so remind me. Lol.

The other person I promised marans eggs too is on this thread as well. Lol. You know who you are...remind this old man. Lol. I have blue eggs if anyone wants some to hatch as well. The chickens are muffed with slate/olive legs, but I've been told they're not americaunas...which is what I paid for from the feed store. Grrr...

Hey, might anyone have an extra rooster??  Good flock master??

I have a small flock of golden comets at my camp (near Ripley, less than an hour from my house)  They are set up with an automatic door on the run, so they free-range during the days, then lock themselves up at night.  I'm there 3-4 times each week.  I had 6 comets with a dark brahma cock.  But apparently a predator grabbed the brahma and one of the girls.  I could only find 5 girls yesterday.  I'm heart-broken, but I knew it was risky anyway.  They usually stuck pretty close to the coops and house.  I turned the auto door off, so the 5 can't get out now, and they will stay safe until I find a new flock master.  I'm thinking hawks.

But anyway, if anyone has a good flock master that might replace my beloved Big Guy, let me know!  Breed not important, just a good master to take care of the girls.

So sorry about your loss. That sucks. I'm downtown Charleston and am fighting coyotes!

Thanks.  And coyotes in town?  Not good!!  Ugh...

Yes, coyotes in town! Good grief! We had people complaining about feral cats. Now that's been taken care of...by the coyotes. Lol. My coup is secure but I can't leave my chicks outside. I actually have caught a fox on the cam too. In town!!! The racoons are also bothersome. I've figured out how to take care of them, wink wink.

If they're laying blue eggs I thought that meant they're ameraucana? Chicken breeds are confusing!

Unreal! Maybe all the animals need to find the donut shops where the cops hang out.
