Anyone know anything about Bourbon Red Turkeys? Thinking of hatching some. Also would anyone be interest in buying some? I am in the Ripley WV area. About an hour north of Charleston.
Also If they hatch I will have some "Barn yard mix" chicks for sale around June 7 or 8th. Mix of Golden Comet, Road Island Reds and Buff Orpingtons. $2 ea. Also White Guinea Keets around June 14, $4.50 ea.

I used to have midget whites and blue slate turkeys. I got them because they have a better feed conversion ratio than the bigger birds, and are healthier if you want to keep them longer. I do know that my turkeys were the friendliest poultry I ever owned

My ducks are actually not quite old enough t lay yet. They r only 3 1/2 no old. Thank you for the compliments! Its bn a chore t get it built tg way I want. Expanding the duck pond is my next project!

I think my ducks are better layers than my chickens....lol. They lay like crazy...and even through the winter.

Lmbo. The Black duck with the white chest markings is a Black Swedish. I have a friend on the Indiana BYCers thread that is raising them. I bought her from "SallyinIndiana". Love her personality even if she is my dominant duck.
