Also try Rural King for chicks. There is one in Gallipolis and one in Parkersburg and I hear they are about to open one in Teays Valley. The Parkersburg store told me they would have more ducks mid-March.

EggorChicken, I assumed the black ones were black sex link simply due to the ease of sexing them, the others are more of a buff color and their wings are coming in white. Figuring white rock or leghorn. Still I'm no expert.

WVDuckChick thanks for the info. TeaysValley would be close to me, although I regularly travel to Parkersburg as well. I'd love to find a Silkie or Polish...If I get one my year would be complete.

Predators are horrible here too Causes me to have to build my coops and runs bulletproof with bottoms and tops on the runs. I have a Sis in Law in Hurricane that has lost a lot of her flock to predators too. I'm down about 45 minutes south of Huntington
