Yes, I did. A very informative email, with a phone number took me to a real human being. I am scheduled for my testing in another 10 days. (Yikes!)Did you ever hear back from them?

I live in the northern panhandle in Marshall county. I have 12 buff orps. 11 hens and one rooster. This is my first flock, and I absolutely love having chickens. I'm interested in possibly adding lavender and/or chocolate orps to my flock in the spring. Does anyone in WV have these birds.

I grew up in your area on Fork Ridgeon a dairy farm. My best friends in-laws were/are from proctor also. I had a buff orpington but re-homed her when we got our chicks in the spring due to space. She is in a home 5 miles down the road and I can visit her. I live down south now in the mountains, I have EE and Welsummers. Good luck on the orpingtons they are a great breed!
Welcome! And congrats on your flock.
I have both lavenders and chocolates, I'm in Parkersburg.
Awesome that is close enough maybe we can meet sometime do you sell chicks in the spring. I want to breed both of these colors into my flock eventually. My chickens are only about 11 weeks old right now, but I'm definitely planning on adding to it in the spring.
