I've been pretty successful on craigslist for chick/poults/ducklings after the spring rush. On occassion you can get the left over babies for a better price even if the person needs the room...

Here theres a auction house that sells all kinds of livestock. I went there Saturday and they had 6 black sex link pullets they sold for 2$ a piece . There was 8 cooper marans that sold for 4$ a piece . I was shocked .
