Anyone know how to breed Buff Barred?

Here is a pic of a Buff & Lemon(I believe he has double dose of barring gene). I haven't used the lemon yet, but planning to test mate him soon. I call him "Lemon" there probably is a correct term...
I hope you can see some differences in them...in person it is easily seen. He is much lighter than the other one.

Could the color difference be the number of barring genes each bird carries? As Krys stated, they will look different with one gene vs. two.

With my buff cuckoo (or barred...whatever) I've got different colours segragating out.
I have not tested my theory but I've theorised that it is the result of some of the genes in buff segregating out.
For instance this chick, very bad pic, taken back in July. They are big & chunky now, but still very pale....could this be Di without Mh?

This does not need to happen if one repeatedly breeds to buffs, not of the project, until one is happy with the colour.
