Im looking to get some cayugas but would like to start with eggs this time. And from a good breeder who has some cayugas of decent blood line. Not just another hatchery ducky. Can anyone help me?

Holderread's got cayugas. Can't do much better than that. And don't worry about shipping--even if you're on the opposite side of the continent, he is so good at shipping that they will arrive in outstanding condition. Good luck and enjoy!

Holderreads have wonderful Cayugas!

Straight run only and the reason: He does not destroy extra drakes. Any operation that sells sexed ducklings must destroy extra drakes in order to function. Buy them straight run and re-home the extras. Advertise Holderread drakes as flock sires & you'll have no trouble selling them when they mature. They are the best in the nation and will improve anyone's flock.

Do they sell eggs or just hatchlings? And does anyone know about their egg quality? I would like to find some that at least are close to standards for cayugas.

dont think they sell eggs. Just ducklings to adults.
We do, and have some pretty nice ones. Should start getting more eggs any day now.
We have them in assorted colors though. black, blue , and a few splash and silver .

got pics of them all on the wbesite if you want to take a look.
