Anyone know some good Amaraucana Breeders?

I'm looking for some real pure blue egg gene Amaraucana hens to kick start my Olive Egger breeding project. Anyone know any good breeders in the states of West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, South Western Ohio, and Southern PA?

You can post in the “where am I, where are you” thread (under social) on the BYC forums. There are state threads and you might be able to find someone there. Also, BYC has a swap area also in the forums.

You can look up NPIP breeders and hatcheries by state. NPIP is a voluntary certification which often will mean a healthy flock. You can search NPIP and will see breed codes. The breed codes are in another link on their site, so you can compare the two lists and see who might be geographically close, breeding/selling what you want.

Lastly, have you searched for any clubs for this breed? This might be another source of breeders.
