We just hatched these babies about 11 days ago and the eggs were given to me by one of my friends. She really didn’t know what type but she suspects Easter Egger mixes? They are being raised by my Buff Orpingtons. The eggs were a very light mint green color. I was just curious what they kind of look like and what they were mixed with.

Your friend is probably right. The green eggs tell you what color their mother laid, so at least you know that much.

They could have two Easter Egger parents. Easter Eggers can come in almost any color and pattern (although brown with black patterning is common.) Or their father could be almost any breed that's some shade of brown, or a few that aren't.

The father is probably not black, barred, or a silver-anything, because any of those would be visible in the chicks. Same for feathered feet--if the father has them, at least some chicks should too.

Thank you for replying! It doesn’t really matter what breed they are because we love them anyway but I was just curious. I sure would like to have some pretty eggs!
