I plan to get into breeding meat rabbits soon but I do have a pet rabbit that I raised from a baby. Very tame, little sweetie pie.
I got her from a feed store a couple of years ago. She was gray, as were half her siblings, and the other half were orange. All solid colors. I have no idea what breeds she's mixed with.
She has some soft white around her eyes, neck, under paws and tail/belly and seems to stay gray or tannish-gray, but has this chinchilla-like salt and pepper look when she grows a new coat in. The orange bits were the old coat still shedding out-
This was the first day/week I brought her home-
Here's a "teenager" photo.. she started getting those little orange spots on her back.
And a photo I just took of her. She happily lives outside in a fenced yard (with a female companion bunny) so I had to use flash but I tried.
Oh! And her name is Luna. ☺
