I bought a hundred pounds of it today so I guess I will try it out. It is a lot better than the Purina I have been getting. It is medicated differently, but it has 3% less protein. It is a 27% starter for quail only. If I need more protein I can always buy soybean mill which is only $2 more and has 40-45% protein. My chicks seem to love it, I will feed it to the breeders tomorrow. I can always order purina or southern states from this new place. I can even trade animals for feed. I love this new store, I found it on the way to sell some eggs at the flea market.
