Anyone Nervous About New England Nor'easter?

I am in nh. We got nailed. This is the worst storm I have seen in a long time. We got the call at 6:30 am to start plowing and shoveling. It is now 9:12 and we r finally going home. Only to get up at 3:am to start all over again. Sometimes I don't like nh

Living in a lake effect snow belt, I was very glad to have missed the brunt of this storm.

Oh i wish that's all we got. 26 hours after the storm started I am finally going to bed. I hope Mother Nature is done with this snow.

Hi, didn't really know where to put this so I decided to just ask about it here. I got home at about 7:30 tonight, and I went to close up the coop and check on my hens, and I found 4 out of 5 of on the roosts. Usually, there is the 2 ameraucanas and 1 BR on the front perch, and the other 2 BRs on the back perch. This gets changed a little sometimes, but it usually goes back to normal pretty fast. Today, I went to check on them, and one of the BRs that usually sits on the back perch was up front with the ameraucanas, and the BR that usually sits on the front perch was standing on the floor of the coop. Has this happened to anyone before? They are about a year old. I placed her on the back perch so that the BR who was all alone, so they wouldn't get cold. After doing a quick examination, she seemed okay. I have a light bulb in the coop, so I would have been able to see if anything was obviously wrong. When I put her up on the perch she flapped a little, and she had seemed fine earlier today. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

It's not usual for them to shuffle positions on the roosts, especially during cold weather. As long as they're all looking and acting healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.

I got over 20 hens of different ages, a few that's on the lower of the pecking order gets shuffled from time to time. I got six various heights and locations of perches the only ones that doesn't get move around are the top hens. I have couple of 1 year old Easter Eggers that even roost on the 8' rafters and it's always on different locations, and they're fine happy and laying eggs regularly.
