Anyone new to chicken buy the Isabelle leghorn Right now there my all time favorite

As with any breed someone is considering it would be wise to research into them before purchasing.
I would never rely on the info a hatchery has posted as being completely accurate.
I agree with @RiverOtter and its not only hatcheries. Most breeders that got into them soon got out of them. The roosters show the majority of the issues in some lines and I notice that Hoover's didn't add any pics of males.
Maby I’ll get all females that’s a win win!

Wait can u tell me about the rooster I’m curious idk probably cause my rooster never had an issues probably lucky can u tell me I have owned Isabelle leghorn and never spotted anything can plss tell me I wanna know more because I’m get more Isabelle leghorns

I heard that the males can have patches of feathers on their wings (usually the gold feathers) that never develop properly.

Also heard they tend to have higher mortality on shipping
Oh I never had that on my shipping but you are correct with the males my rooster has what you described but he doing alright. You should get ur Isabelle leghorns from Hoover hatchery nothing goes wrong with Hoovers and I’m currently getting more from Hoover :)

I'm not getting Isabellas
Oh okay but I’m still getting mine you shouldn’t trust what you hear on the internet because I hadn’t had any problem with my Isabelle leghorns and also google said isa browns only live for 3 years but most of the girl or like 7 and 10 so I rlly don’t trust other people without rasing them myself but I could Understand why you don’t want them I was never forcing you to get them it was just a recmadtion

Oh so you have Isabellas from Hoover's? I see that's what you posted but odd since they haven't sold any yet.
