Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Alright I finally started to exercise.Using a Life shaper machine and did SOME of the jillian Michaels Fat Burn DVD.Her workouts kill me and I only make it through half.

I am at 175.5.When I started weighing in at 180+ each day I almost gave up.I was at 172 before the holidays!

I am eating high fiber oatmeal packets with extra cin. and frozen mixed fruit or a banana. I make a can of soup with a handful of oats and some extra veg like corn, okra,or mushrooms. Snacks are green apples, saurkraut, and carrots. Oh and I drink kefir that I make with skim milk and a swig of lifeway plain kefir(to grow the gallon).

I no longer buy the terra veg chips after I ate a whole bag in 1 sitting. I have never done that before, ugh what was I thinking!

Oh another treat is baked sweet potato, potato, and parsnips. I have this for dinner with a salad or I just do another oatmeal or can of soup.I bought a gallon jar of pickles.I wanted the jar for kefir, and the pickles are a low cal snack though I need to watch the salt intake.

Dh has gained weight and was quite teasing with my own weight gain.Tells me the exercise machines are just for show.Well I used them and got my heart rate up.I hope my weight loss will get him back in gear.

Wishing everyone well!

....so far I think you've gotten in more time on yours than me on mine.

Don't dread the weigh in. In fact, skip it if you think it'll affect your psyche.

!! Good for you!!

I was inspired to jump on my treadmill after reading these last posts about others getting their exercise in. Now I'm eating a salad....maybe I'll finish it up with a fat free chocolate pudding. I know what would REALLY make me feel better...
a new chicken!

, I don't really want to do this,
week three- You all have me thinking about really getting somewhere.
I am trying not to let my sugar drop, eating 'something' even when I do not want to. and savoring what I do allow me to splurge on.

I say you all are inspiring.
