Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Thanks-I couldn't join sparkspeople, because I am still nursing. They sent me over to babyfit, but I haven't been able to find that on there.

With fitday.com, you just enter in all the ingredients and amounts and it tells you how much calories, fat, protein, carbs. They have a lot of things already in their database too. I'll often just do an "approximate" by using something similar that they've got in the database. In any case, I've been using them for years and think they're really helpful.
 
I want to lose 15-20 lbs.

I am.. 5'2 walk 30 minutes everyday
up the hill to care for the flock.sometimes 2-3 hrs.
I have no help Dh in wheel chair.

I'm not one for straight out excersize.
but I am getting the bike into the living rm.
Iwatch my carbs. Portions. eat 4-5 times a day even tho it
sometimes is an orange.and water.
or Tea, 2- 3 glasses of water. everyday.
Doing this I lost 11 lbs just before the Holidays but
now need to see if I gained it back
be right back, going to weigh my self.

ok I gained 2 lbs of the 11
my down fall is rye bread 3 slices a day so it will have to be 1 slice.

Oesdog loses a pound working over a jealous Fattie, mom'sfolly hit a milestone, babymakes6 has braved the spreadsheet......and I have acid reflux from attending two parties in one day. I lost 2 lbs. this week which makes me very happy. Okay, didn't really do much on the treadmill, but three times this week was more than I was doing before so I guess it's something. Next weeks goal is to increase that to 4 days a week (I'm not setting myself up to fail

) and DRINK MORE WATER!!!! Oh, and use less salt.

Great job this week everyone!!! So glad to see that no one is discouraged.

OK according to the Old Farmer Almanac the best days to start a diet to lose wiehgt this month is 22,23,26,27.

The best days to start a diet to lose wieght was the 8,9,13,14 like we care !!!!!!!!!!! But if you started on these days you may want to restart on a better day

Also the best days to set eggs this month are 14,15,16,and 24 one more chance this month.

Our vet still goes by the moon to do certian things.

Just something to think about

Well I can;t actually believe I am finally off the starting block!!!! 1 lb is soooo good!!!!!! I know I am so excited about it but hay it took me ages to achieve that!!!

I am hoping it wasn;t just a fluctuation of Water weight and I actually will keep it off for next week, and am hoping to be 10.7 by then????? Don't forget I am away the following week so wont be weighing in then - I will be sunning myself on a beach!!!!
