Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I guess I didn't help getting you trying the pillsbury bake off recipes the last couple of months! LOL

Actually it didn't bother me at all, I CAN'T eat any of my creations. I have been relying on taste testers. Everything in the bake off has wheat in it, and I am allergic.

It is a great allergy if you are wanting to watch what you eat, but a HORRIBLE one if you like to eat!!!! I have several other food allergies too, but that one is the most limiting. It used to bother me a lot, but after so many years I don't even miss most of the stuff, most everything I really like I can make or get GF, it is just harder and more expensive, so it is truly just a treat when I get it.

Well, the healthy thing I'm doing today is ...
going to bed. I need to start getting to bed at a more reasonable time, so Im starting now.

See ya'll tomorrow!

Well, I got some sleep last night, and that is always healthy Anna, I hope you got enough too.

It's WEIGH IN DAY!

Me and my family have had the flu for the pass week thus I have not been very ambitious. I did manage to drop 4lbs though

I have a surplus of eggs building up in the frig.. soo time to get creative. I have plans to make pickled eggs and one very large impossible egg coconut custard pie. It is a family favorite. I just hope I can find the strength to stay out of it. Just another one of lifes tests you know.

I am still here though feel rotten right now. lots going on here and I will tell you all when I get my head round everything.
I have managed to stay at 10 stone 9 ok so its not massive weight loss but as I went up to 11 stone recently its good for me!!!!!

I would love some ideas on what to do with loads of eggs to!!! I get sooo many this time of year and then nothing from September through most of the winter months!!!
Now I have a huge amount of eggs as most of my 10 girls are laying everyday!! Egg custard tart sounds lovely cause the baby could eat that if I had a recipie I could try to make it. Though not coconut.

Better away

vfem congrats on your loss!!!! Oh and Renie congrats on your hard earned loss, doing it sick is never fun!!!!

My good for me deed I have done today is I did not bring any diet Dew to work w/ me, but 24 hrs is a long time, so hopefully I'll stay strong and not get any during the shift. Oh and took my vitamins again.

I weighed this morning, but my official weigh won't be until monday, I lost .3 lbs so far this week, but I'm okay w/ that. I just transitioned from a very low calorie strict eating plan for the last 4 wks into a moderate 1200-1500 cal diet but still being very conscious and picky about the right carbs and fat for this next 4 wks so I would be happy this week w/ anything except gaining!!!!

I plan on doing some experimenting w/ freezing them for the off months. Just got some ice trays. My first experiment is going to be scrambling them then freezing in the trays w/o adding anything to them, and see if when the thaw they can be used w/o the yolks gumming up. (to use in cooking)

I also plan of freezing just whites for eating. (I seldom eat yolks, I scramble 2 whites in 1 tbsp of salsa and top w/ 1 tbsp of cheese) I'd rather eat the cheese then the yolk and save the extra fat for a bite of chocolate!

Could you explain what your weight scale is, like the 10 stone 9 I don't understand what that is.

Congrats to everyone for sticking with it this far. I'm planning on either a walk or riding the exercise bike today (depending on the rain).

What healthy thing are you choosing today?
