they could be sex linked, or they could be like SLW's we have. it is just general but they are black chicks with chipmunk stripes. the boys tend to have more white on them while the girls tend to be darker. a SLW with white wings are usually boys. so just a guess it is similar markers with marans.

Today is day 10. I threw away one infertile one and one that was dead. That leaves me with 7 eggs.

How to you do the down sexing?

I've read on the internet that for Golden Cuckoo Marans the light colored ones are male and the dark/black are female.
