Anyone setting eggs starting July 15 -July 22?

So I candled the eggs I put in on 7/11 and all look good..unfortunatley, some look way developed.. one even shows a developed chick., head, eyes, body shape, good size too.. some are dark areas taking up at least 3/4 of the shell. Is it possible the hen or the weather started these eggs befopre I did? When do I take them out and put them into lockdown? I do have another incubators with some ducks in it that are supposed to hatch in 3 days.....I thought this chicken hatching would be fun but its becoming a PITA....
I was told that is due to the humidity being too high. I had one that was a few days from hatching and I touched it and it exploded. I was told it was because the chick had developed too much and had no room to move to get free.

Setting eggs today :)

I just put a dozen paint silkie hatching eggs in my little giant incubator.
Please hatch my fluffy babies!

Me too just put 18 silkie eggs, black, buff, lavendar, porcelain, partridge and paint...so excited!!!!!!

Must be an alignment in the stars... Four of the eggs I set are Silkies.
Wow your right....now I'm excited to see all the pics of the silkie babies when they hatch, they're going to be all different colors!

What color are yours going be Chick_In_The_Burbs?

No, those are the two color combos in the two pens the Silkie enthusiast sold me eggs from. I am in suburban Colorado Springs, so no roosters allowed. :/. It's funny though, the law says that chicks don't count as chickens until they are six months old and they don't define what a rooster is. So, in theory, I could keep one to the one year mark when it goes from being a cockerel to a true roo.
