Just moved here to Texas & ain't no Internet service here...but still got my iPhone...figure I'll take my laptop to the library in the next town in a few days to post the pix!!

Lost a lot of money going for new breed twice..I like MY 2 Barred Rock girls .Nice friendly chickens.
Have nowhere to get eggs around here that i have seen.Do you know is the white dot a girl and no dot a boy?I thought i heard something like that a while back or is it smaller white spot on a boy ?

The smaller uniform,white dot is a girl and the boys have a larger dot from what I have read. Sad thing is none of mine have a dot. They all have solid black with different amounts of white all along the back of the head. One has a major white feather issue going on and we have named him Einstein.

I have my first pip, it is my 7 year olds Buff silkie egg, he is going to be so excited!

My 17 year old daughter has been helping me with this hatch. She is officially momma to the little wryneck chick we have. She has named her Starr. What a great learning experience we give our kids!!!
