Yup, a little white one (in the group pic), the salmon colored one (cutest of the three), and the chocolatey one. The two under my fav that she hatched are the same salmon colored and another white one. Dying to see what these guys are going to look like full grown! Lol

Update, my little pip of this AM is still just the pip. I'm worrying now because I can definatly see the air cell is located midway on the side and it pipped on the small end I don't think it has enough room to turn around, the air cell is in the way. I have never interfeared before but if this is the only one to pip and I don't help it I will have nothing. I have raised the humidity from 62 to 65 but I don't want to go much higher its very hard to get it lower at this point.
Any ideas ??

My first chick pipped yesterday around 4pm and didn't make any progress at all untill like 2:30 this morning, then is zipped and hatched by 3:30! so it took almost 12hrs to hatch from pip. I'm not sure if this is normal lol.
Good Luck!!!!!!

Hi! The GE Pan that I have has a dial that starts at (warm-150-200-300- etc.) I had to adjust it within the "warm" setting to get the element to come on at about 98-F and 102-F. I tried to keep the temps around 100-101-F, since there is no fan involved. A few times the temperature climbed to 103-F, but not for an extended period. It takes about 24 hours to get the temperature stable and adjusted because the internal egg temps take a while to warm up. From what I understand, lower temperatures are a bigger problem in the hatching process. Temps above 103-104 F can be damaging for an extended period.

I also think the digital meat thermometer was the best part of the incubator. In my "unsuccessful incubators", I used a digital weather thermometer like the ones I saw in the "Gopher Bator" and similar homemade bators.

I used a thermometer similar to this one.
Anyhow, I hope this helps!

I did a lot of things on my successful hatch that you are not supposed to do. (Such as) I gently and quickly washed my eggs with cool water and dried them off before I put them in the incubator. I had to collect them for 2 weeks before I set them. I kept them in a 68 degree room until I had enough eggs. I candled the eggs 3 times, "I didn't go into lockdown", I turned the eggs until I heard the first pip. I opened the lid 15 or 20 times to peek at them hatching!

I was so bad! But I had a great hatch.
