Your right, after all Vlad the Impaler wasn't much of a fun guy either!

Guess I just don't comprehend the random cruelity of the human race. Maybe that's why I feel safer around animals. At least they make sense.

Absolutely!!! I was having strange issues with my chickens recently and someone said not to get too comfortable thinking it was "only a human" predator. I would be far LESS comfortable with a human. Animals are fairly predictable.....you can almost always figure out what they are doing and why. Humans, not so much.

I would feel comfortable having someone come over to my house or going over to someone else's. As long as DH is home, I have a big dog and nosy neighbors. Plus, I live in a bubble here. Things do happen, but not too often, it's pretty safe. I simply refuse to live in fear.

Where I lived before would be a different matter. I had to be a lot more cautious and paranoid.

It appears now there are males coming forward from encounters with this guy months past. Apparently he was a predator from way back and because he was handsome he never drew attention to himself.

I dont post on craigs list unless it has something to do with a Swap so No I am not spooked by it at all.
Even if I did post "They" have more to fear from me than I them.(preditory people I mean not normal sane people)
I find that people who post in he singles section are setting themselves up for disaster. I feel for them honest I really do. but why would anyone put themselves in such a position?
