This is my first year with my chickens and one thing I have realized is that they live and breathe for treats

My garden will (hopefully) have a bounty of produce and produce is so much cheaper in the summer, I was thinking about storing some treats for the chickens. Does anyone do this? If so, what do you store and how? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

well thats depends on whats in your garden...
tomatoes freeze well
peas, beets, carrots, all freeze well

what are you growing and I can help with freezing and "storage" ideas my family does this every year.

If you have a root cellar or a clamp you can store beets, carrots, cabbage, apples, and potatoes from your garden without having to take up freezer space. In the house or garage you can keep pumpkins and other winter squash.
In worm bins you can"store" protein. You can also collect nuts to break open and throw to the birds.
If you grow sunflowers and can keep wild birds away, you can hang them in a dry place and throw a head to the chickens now and then.

These are some of the easy things I am working on.
