Anyone that can help in Yuba City?

I've posted about the feral chickens that frequent my parents' yard up in Yuba City before. Well, my mom saved one of the new chicks after finding it bloody pecked almost to death.

She cleaned its wounds and separated it from the others (it looks like the mom rejected it) and it is eating and drinking. The problem is, she can't keep it and care for it and my dad told her to put it back outside. Is there anyone local that can take it? I don't even know if it will survive even with care, but I'm worried about my mom. She is going to obsess over this poor chick and I know it won't survive if she has to put it back out.

Try posting on Craigslist and Facebook to get some feedback, there should be some farms in that area or a backyard chicken keeper that might be able to get it.

Great suggestion, I just posted on the local Facebook pets and animals group to see if anyone can help.
