Anyone Try To Enter The Pillsbury Bake-Off?

Katy, Start piecing it together... taste as you go... your taste buds will tell you a flavor or texture is missing. Its so fun!

Here's one of the winning recipes that my friend who made it last year did:

http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/pe...-butter/d7c4ae01-33a7-4aa5-a2a4-34b2345a1f58/

Cathy has been giving me great advice and I'm happy to share it with ya'll!

She's gone 2 years now, and she's hoping we can both go for 2012 so we can finally meet up! We used to write for a baking newsletter together, though I mainly covered kitchen gardens, and she need simple recipes for the on the go mom.

I saw that recipe and on the web site and I was thinking how ingenious to think of using cookie dough to make waffles! So cool that you know her! I'm working on it I know what I want it will just take a few days to get there. problemis I don't really use those preprocessed products so I'm going to have to experiment a bit to see what works.

I am the same way, I like fresh, and rather 'bake' my own when needing stuff like this.

However, $1 million dollars (or even a chance at a new $3000 applaince package) is too hard to over look!

I wish you luck... I would LOVE to go, even the trip would be fun

It would even be better to know I'm going and getting to see people I'd love to meet at the same time! WHat a trip that would be.

So Katy, did you hit the nail on the head yet?

I'm working on a new recipe tonight, and I don't know how I got so lucky to get it dead on, on the first shot. Of course, now I have to mess with it to make it look as pretty as it tastes. Wish me luck.

Anyone else entering? Or has entered?
Who has advice?

I've gotten a few friends from another site who've made it, and now I have a few other girls I know from another site working along with me to try to go. I really want to go badly, but its because I would love to get a chance to run into some BYC peeps and the other girls. Totally a paid vacation with a chance to win $$$!

I know a lot of you are creative and have what it takes!

LMAO... last night, I was tossing and turning for 2 hours thinking of how to fix the stuffed crescent french toast recipe. ...even worse, one night a year or so ago, I woke up with an idea in my head for a cookie, and got up at 2am to make it because I couldn't sleep until I got it.

You should see my husband's face sometimes! hahahaha

I'm not the only one who does this???

My husband thinks I'm an absolute nutter. But he also has a sweet tooth so he has learned to not complain. He just thanks his lucky stars he is married to a woman who magically makes cupcakes appear when he wakes up. Your husband should be grateful!

Oh he is, I made something out of this world last night. He wanted to take one to work, so I bagged one up and put it in the fridge with his lunch. Then I happened to just bag up the rest for today as well. I get up and look, he took 3 to work with him! He's going to be so sick!!!!
