Anyone use Flubendazole to worm their chickens?

Hope this is in the right area mods, if not sorry. I read about this and heard there is no withdrawal period so we can still eat the eggs. Is anyone familiar with this stuff. I know you have to have a mixing license to buy one type of it but the 1% anyone can buy. I just don't know how to administer and if what I heard is true. I don't have a worm problem but my hens are on the skinner side and I want to make sure. I also don't know where to buy it.

I actually bought some but didn't end up using it. (I thought one of my chickens had gapeworms- she didn't) The stuff I got is called "Safe-guard" (correct spelling is fenbendazole) and is an equine de-wormer 10% from the feed store. Sorry I don't know more about it. Maybe you can do a search for more info.
