Anyone wanna work out with me???

I was good today, I do not know the calories but I figured since I am not grazing all day that counts for something...

Breakfast
Turkey sandwich on a 7 Grain Bread
1 tsp of mayo on it
1 slice of swiss cheese
STUFFED with fresh veggies
1 glass of milk about 1 cup

Lunch
2 water bottles
one slice of french bread halved
6 pieces of salami (pre cut in the bag)
1/2 slice swiss cheese
2 apples

Dinner
a bowl of...
Brown rice with steamed chicken and brocolli, or baby trees is what my youngest calls them.
2 more water bottles
1 peach (dessert)

Excercise I vacummed my house and mopped 1800 sq feet of hardwood floors on my hands and knees.

Is it too late to get into this? I need to lose a lot!
5'6"
170lbs
39yrs
Had 2nd baby at 37
Body didn't go back easy like when I had my first baby (18yrs old -105lbs-got down to 110 after several months without even trying -not fair!!)
Want to be at least down to 130lbs
Is this reasonable?
Need to lose at least 40 pounds I think.

Today I had:
Hamburger patty for breakfast (85/15 ground beef)
glob of cheese melted on top (about 1/4 cup shredded cheddar)
2 slices tomato
1/3 cup cottage cheese
3 green olives
water

Lunch: think I forgot it mostly.

Exercise: Set up new pen for chicks. Disinfected brooder for quail. Set up brooder for quail. Stared into incubator windows with a flashlight for 2 hours because 1 egg rocked.

Dinner: Cooked spaghetti. Didn't eat. Had a bottle of Beringer White Merlot. Still staring at eggs in bator.

I need help.

I'm in too. I'm 52, at least 40 lbs over weight. I gained it last year when DH had Colo-rectal cancer, we were in UNC hospital 24 days in August 06, then in and out until the last surgery in Dec. All is well now and DH is fat and heathy and so am I, I have lost 25lbs since July, but I need to do more.

Here's what I ate yesterday. I just copied and pasted from my Slim-Fast.com meal planner.

As you can see, I went over some in my calories from fat, total fat, and probably sugar (althought it does not give you a recommended amount). I was under suggested levels in dietary fiber, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron and water. I tried my best, but I was one bottle short on water yesterday.

I also did not exercise yesterday. I think I'm going to make it an every-other-day thing because of my bad joints. I don't want to overwork them and not be able to walk.

Here is something about CRAVINGS from slim-fast.com

Dealing with Cravings

Understanding why and when your cravings occur can actually help you manage your weight.

Tips for Dealing with Cravings

Step #1
Identify your cravings! At what time of the day do you usually develop them? Cravings often rise from our emotions, so being aware of the connection between your mind and body is an important step. If you often crave ice cream when you are feeling depressed, it may be more beneficial to focus on your emotions than to dive into the freezer. If you raid the vending machine at work when you are bored or tired, try taking a quick walk or calling a friend instead.

Secret to Success: Keep a mood journal! Record the time, quantity and type of food, as well as your emotions before, during and after you eat. It will allow you to see and better understand your own personal patterns!

Step #2
Be sure that you are following the proper Slim·Fast Optima Diet for your current weight. Your Optima Diet will include three meals and three snacks a day. Don't skip them! Cravings can occur from hunger.

Step #3
Determine what kind of food you are craving, and think of other healthier options. Having a craving for sweets? Try yogurt, fruit or sugar-free pudding for a snack alternative. Need something crunchy? Chomp on a serving of fat-free popcorn, or pretzels. Drooling for chocolate? Make some fat-free hot cocoa with water or grab a Slim·Fast snack bar.

Tip
Many cravings fade within five to fifteen minutes. If your craving has not subsided within this time period, it may be more beneficial to eat a small amount of the food you are craving than to eat a larger (and unplanned!) portion later on in the day.

I am so impressed with everyone.....We all jumped on board and began confessing our diets and the like.. I have to say, if I wasn't a part of this thread I would have had 4 coors lights and a handful of fried shrimp for dinner last night. (while watching the flock.)
Instead, I cooked the shrimp for the kids and had a small salad and a slimfast. My total cal intake for yesterday was 1288. I also did a 25 min TJ last night. Dude, exercise is a total appetite killer!
Hat's off to TurboJam...I am sore in every muscle except thighs and booty. So I guess tonight I will do the lowerbody Jam.
With out you guys I would have already given up....THANKS!!

I am actually looking foward to next Wed to weigh myself again.
Honestly though , if there is no change I will probably quit.
