Anyone wanna work out with me???

I'm not really expecting to lose 10 lbs in a week ..if that were possible everyone would do it.
I just know me,..and if my jeans don't get any loser or the scale says I gained I will get so depressed after trying so hard all week.
Although, I feel better already just from a couple of days of tough cardio..I should convince myself to do it because it feels good.

Just remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so even if it appears you've gained some or are the same it could just be the fat converting to muscle.

Give it at least a couple of weeks! Please? For us?

Hi everyone! I only have a few mins, but wanted to check in. I'm so impressed with everyone. Yall are doing great! Keep up the good work.

It was my daughter's B-day yesterday, so was unable to write and only have a few min right now.

I went to the gym yest morn and did a total body work out with 1 min of bike cardio inbetween the weight machines. It was the first time in about a month that I've been able to do that particular routine. I'm a little soar today. I've only been able to get to the gym about once a week and have only been doing lower body. I had an appt after the workout, so didn't get to do straight cardio afterwards, which is a future goal. Hope to fit in cardio today, but haven't had time yet.

The owner of this small gym I go to is actually has his Bach degree in nutrition and exercise science along with his training cert, but his main focus is over all heathy life style. He has started a new program, but it cost big $$$$$$$$. Anyway, the people that have joined it are dropping weight and getting toned and fit. Some of these people have been to the gym regularly, but haven't been losing until now. He specializes an eating plan for the individual. I can't afford his program, but he has given me a generic sample form in the past. I'll try to find it and post it later or tomorrow.

Everyone keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!

Nospringchicken, thanks for starting this to help motivate everyone.

4 1/2C. Flour
1/2C.shortening
1tsp. salt (I don't put that much in though)
1 1/2C. warm water(you may have to put less water in as we live in high alt.(5600)

Cut in shortening until mixed well, add water, mix well.
Form into a ball cut into 10 chunks. Form chunks into balls. Roll on floured board turning over now and then and turning 1/4 turn each roll, until desired thickness and diameter. Put wax paper between each tortilla.

On hot griddle/skillet cook on each side about 1 min. or until lightly browned. I put a paper towel in between each browned tortilla then wrap whole stack in foil.

It takes me about 30min. start to finish. I need to start making corn ones next.
