okay here is the part I hate to say ........gotta do it.

cut out some of the fatty foods


Is this possible???....I'm busy, lazy, love fried chicken livers and coors light.......

This is what I posted yesterday.
I didn't work out when I got home. Today I plan to do a 40min TurboJam DVD.
Use your mental telepathy to cattle prod me around 7:00pm.

BTW..I also have 2 daughters(13 & 11), a son(5), and a step-son(10).
 
I do all my exercize in the am. I get up at 5:00 and am at the gym at 6:00. I am a male age 48 149lbs 5'7'. I had 2 heart attacks at the age of 42 and it changed my life forever. Gave up all the fatty foods, cigarettes and started a reginm of running and weights. haven't had a bowl of ice cream in 5 years and chips have been gone for a long time also. My goal is to live to see my grand children(my only son is 12). It was very hard at the beginning because I felt I wasn't making any progress but progress is measured in inches and seconds on the stopwatch. I lost over 55 lbs and my body fat is now 13%. My docter told me these words and they have stuck to me every day"no matter how hard you work, your no good to your family dead". Make time for your health there is no subsitute.

I still have baby fat leftover from back to back 10 lbs babies!! One is now 7 yrs old and the other is 5 yrs old!

I think you goal is possiable maybe between the two of us we can get this done

Maybe at the end of the day we should all give a little summary of what we ate, what exercises we did and something we did/didn't do that we're proud of. For example, I have NOT had a soda today. I'm pretty proud of that considering everytime I went to get a bottle of water out of the fridge there's 4 cans of root beer staring at me! I think if we can find something to pat ourselves on the back for, we'd feel motivated to keep going.

eggcetra & wooden, I won't be able to post again tonight. I don't use the computer after 5pm.
I wish I could though it might keep me on my toes more.
wooden, I will take some before pics tonight, and when I get brave enough I'll send them.

I have always enjoyed workouts in the morning, but my schedule doesn't permit that now. I have to wake the kids @ 5:20 which means I'm up getting my shower by 5.
I REALLY HAVE TO PUSH MYSELF TO WORKOUT IN THE AFTERNOON.

Now your talking! I'm ten but I defintly need to lose weight.
Here is a tip, see if you can do 40 situps in a minute!
It's presedental in school! I can do 49!

You guys are so inspirational! I didn't even give my stats, but since you guys did here's mine: Well, now I feel bad because I only need to lose a little, but I think no matter what or how much you need to lose it all helps:

Let me tell you guys, the low carb way really works, and you feel satisfied. Just be reasonable, and add the fruit and water, and don't buy that sugary soda, diet soda is fine and you won't miss the sugar after a short while.

After all what are we going to do with all those eggs without eating them, and lowcarb you can eat alot of them!

But since I'm in old bag area, I am trying to get on the treadmill every other day and do a mile. It's better than sitting on a sofa all night, and then you want to eat snackie things. :eek:
