Anyone wanna work out with me???

Ok, here's my day.

What I ate:

Breakfast - Bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal with 2% milk, coffee and a lemon Propel.

Snack - Lowfat (1% milkfat) strawberry yogurt and lemon Propel.

Lunch - 4.5oz chicken breast and about 1 cup salad and maybe 2 tablespoons ranch dressing. One bottle of water (16.9 oz)

Dinner - Healthy Choice frozen meal and about 1 cup salad with 1 tablespoon ranch dressing (the 2 tablespoons was a bit much for me with one cup salad, so I learned my lesson) and lemon Propel.

I will be having 2 cups of microwave popcorn for my last snack of the day and a small glass (3 oz) of tea, water if needed.

According to my Slim Fast meal planner, all of this has equalled 1500 Calories, which is my daily target.

I'VE DONE IT! I stayed on target AND I didn't drink a single sip of soda all day!!


What did YOU accomplish today?
 
Well, as for exercise, I chased Tiberius the Silkie around for about 45 minutes, trying to catch her, before I called in the reserves--the chicken herding-goosies. She's a fast little bugger. I then gave her a bath--also exercise, as she was trying to escape.

This morning, I too, ate Kashi-Go-Lean--whatever size the normal bowl is--bowl-sized with fat-free milk. (Dunno what kind you got, Eggcentra, but I sure need some. Mine tastes like horse grain with some beet pulp added. BLEH!)

Lunch: peanut butter and jelly sandwich on some uber-healthy 12g-fiber bread--350 calories (really sparse PB).

Snack: OK! I had a Wendy's small frosty, 330 calories

Dinner: 1 oz of fish (really) 1/4 cup of rice, and fruit.

OK today was a bad day for me.

Here it goes...

For breakfast 9:00 AM I had a Turkey sandwich on a super bad sliced sweet roll, light mayo but packed with pepperocini and Romaine Lettuce. Milk

Lunch: one can of Coke on ice

Dinner: a burrito had ground beef, refried beans, lettuce, toms, cheese, tons of taco sauce and a glass of milk.

Excercise, I washed two dogs, vaccumed the house, planted about 20 shrubs and one redwood tree. SO I did do a lot of digging I even spent the time to pluck earthworms out of dirt chuncks for my "Girls

PS. DoctorGoose, I almost spit out my mouth full of water because of your exercise routine today!!! That was TOO FUNNY

Come on you all! I was a good girl yesterday, and am being so again - so far. I already went to my Slim Fast meal planner and entered everything I plan on eating today. I'm not eating a single Slim Fast item. You can enter all the foods you want to eat, and as long as you have the nutritional information it will be accurate. For example, I plan on eating a chicken sandwich for dinner. I added together what the chicken patty, bun, mayo and cheese came out to on calories, carbs, fat, etc. and plugged it in to the chart. It's good because it keeps track of everything. If you go over you can adjust. I'm doing 1500 calories a day.

Yesterday I had a goal to drink 4 bottles of water (16.9 oz) and ended up drinking 6! I'm so proud of myself because I normally drink NO water at all. Always coffee, soda and tea. I also exercised some yesterday which I forgot to mention. Crunches, leg lifts, push-ups, squats and jumping jacks.

Don't get discouraged if you get off track - we all do it! I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone else's day is going so far. Good luck!
 
Today

Breakfast 1 cup cherrios w/ 1/2 skim milk

1 hour eliptical burned 750 calories according to the counter. 1/2 hour free weights and stretching

1 cup coffee and 1 bananna

Lunch: Ham sandwich no mayo on 12 grain bread, apple 16oz water

another cup of coffee this afternoon and a pear

3 mile run with my son

Dinner Boneless chicken breasts and 2 ears of corn...more water.

Unbuttered popcorn if I am hungry later this evening
 
I find that if I eat larger meals in the AM I do not over eat during the daytime.

Breakfast 10:30 AM

Turkey sandwich on a 7 Grain Bread
1 tsp of mayo on it
1 slice of swiss cheese
1 glass of milk about 1 cup

My goal today is to DRINK WATER as I do not drink hardly any at all.

Eggcetra, good for you on your water drinking!! You give me hope!

Excercise I vacummed my house and mopped 1800 sq feet of hardwood floors on my hands and knees.

I am not sure what I can accomplish today outside. I would love to go on a walk but since we have a HUGE grass fire burning right now in my town and we are not getting the winds from the beach we look over cast because of all the smoke.

Over 18,900 acres so far, yikes!!

The sunrise was BEAUTIFUL though because of the smoke. I really wish my camera could pick up the color of the sun and the smoke clouds!!!

Finally I did not fall off the wagon yesterdy.

Total 766cal..........I can't believe it.
I also did a 45min TurboJam video. TurboJam is really rough but I made it through.
I know I acomplished a calorie deficiet yesterday..WAHOO

I'm soooooooo proud of you guys!! Everyone is really trying hard and doing a good job.
I hope about a week of this will start to make it routine.
John ..how long did it take for you to not have to make yourself do it?

Plan for dinner another slimfast shake.
And another TJ workout.

I was so ready to tear into a bag of chips and a beer around 7 last night. Instead I made the kids their dinner and while they ate I did the TurboJam video. I'm telling you, after I was done, I wasn't even hungry... that thing wore me out and totally took my hunger away...thats never happened to me before. I had to wait about an hour before I could even drink that shake. I'm glad I did though. It is packed w/alot of vitamins that I peobably haven't been getting.
