Strombergs, & another hatchery used to carry Malays, but recently stopped selling them.
That's sad. They must of not sold very much and so they had to stop. Malays aren't a very pretty bird and might creep people out because of their hight. But also, maybe they are hard to breed. Some chickens are hard to breed, like Manx Rumpys and Cornish. They are just hard to breed. With Manx Rumpys and Araucanas, it has something to do with no tail or something, whereas with the Cornishes, it's their weight. So because the Cornishes are too fat, making them too hard to breed, the breeders somehow mix GMOs or something in the genetics and make the hybrids Cornish Xs with maybe a Plymouth Rock.

I'll update when I start building the coop for the Saipans. It looks like it's gonna be a green Christmas this year.
Ok! Hey, when you get the Saipans, feel free to share pictures of them! :)

The rumpless gene causes death in unhatched chicks with two copies of the gene. It's semi lethal with one copy.

Cornish X are to wide in the hips, & to round to breed naturally. The Cornish Game, & White Rocks were used in the creation of Cornish X.
