Ok, bye. Have a great day!Sorry everyone....... I need to go. Bye!
Not nearly as hardcore and all out as I’d like to be unfortunately due to space. Very dedicated though. Id sell at shows any surplus, at the very least they’d make good pets, but The color I work on is extremely rare so right now I’m just trying to get my numbers up and work from there. So no surplus yet. If you talk to older extremely serious bantam breeders they’ll often tell you that they will just cull them and sometimes not even eat them. I knew a bantam New Hampshire breeder that was friends with a guy that owned a massive pet snake which got fed the birds that weren’t up to snuff. Unfortunately I can’t quite justify bringing a massive number of birds into the world just to kill the majority them because they don’t meet my beauty standards, you know ? There’s got to be a middle ground there somewhere. But to each their own. Thanks for the reminder!
I'll go out and take some when I collect eggs this afternoon.
From your posts, you've come off as a hardcore breeder to me. I'm looking to get into d'Uccles, what do you do with extra birds? Sell? It's not like you can cull and eat them, too tiny.
Bye bye!Sorry everyone....... I need to go. Bye!

Mille Fleurs.I own a couple Mille fleurs and porcelain d’Uccles But I’m working on blues. (The hen in my avatar) I bought a pair from the President of the d’Uccle club and I’m positively hooked, they are the sassiest little loudmouths you’ll ever see. What color do you plan on working on?
