Guess no one will you be doing much of anything around me including going to Church and the real rain not supposed to hit till around 8pm tonight. This my sons friends house there's a road out there somewhere

HA! You're in Warren County?? My mom was born in Fountain Run Kentucky!

Perhaps our Cherokee roots are planted deep in the same tribe. That' where my Great Grandmother was from along with her husband. My grandfather was also born there.

Mama, so scared i think i am sliding into being diabetic. My labs show i am insulin resistant. I am starting to get slight numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. I thought neuropathy took a long time to develop. I gave up soda a while back and drink mostly water, but have green tea usually once a day. So much sugar in everything! I am checking labels more and anything with sugar as #1 ingredient i put back. It is daunting because its not just sugar but carbs that need cutting back. Scary.

With diabetes you need to watch carbohydrates more than just plain sugars. Your carbs should be coming from plants aka fruit, veggies and Whole grain. You want low glycemic index foods. When you get numbness and tingling check your sugars if you have a way. It can be a sign you are high or low. Look at hospital free education programs most of them now a days have one for diabetes. Look online and do lots of research, for your self. Education and understanding is key.

Thanks, i can sure use those hugs! Got my appointment for the sinus CT so hopefully that will help clear up that issue.
Then i will do some reading and self education. I know i need more exercise and weight loss. I am a mess, just want to eat and sleep. I need to snap out of that.

My Gus Gus got attacked while I was in the woods. I'm probably going to lose him but I just brought Loudmouth in and she is giving him a bath and Trying to get him to eat. She got him to drink a little bit. I set his legs they were a mess. His beak is all tore apart.

Mom got her surgical gear and infant stuff and is in surgery with Gus Gus. He is a Pekin Duck.
