Yup, what Folly said.
Most places require multiple vet checks and testing for specific diseases in addition to import permits.
I looked into importing hatching eggs from the UK to the US a few years ago and all around it was going to cost me $500USD BEFORE vet costs to import to the US, and about $800USD if I included the vet costs for the breeder. (They were $500 eggs, ayam cemanis, so I seriously considered it! But my seller backed out after saying he could ship to the US, turns out he didn't have the paperwork for it and wasn't willing to get the vet checks.) Most small breeders are obviously unwilling to pay those costs to make a $50 sale of chicks/eggs/bird. So you may be better off looking into chickens originating from your country of residence unless you are after specific, expensive and high quality birds.
Frankly, if you wanna cover the import permits, the export permits, the vet checks, and the lab costs for shipping I'd happily go through the motions to ship to anywhere. But you'd be laying down $850 for $50 worth of chickens.
