This isn't even my first hatch. Although it has been since Sept 2010.

A 4th one has pipped!

Someone said watching water boil....I would almost agree except as of right now that would be more exciting. I know, I know patience patience.

Just out of curiosity the 4 that pipped so far are my large breeds. My silkie eggs haven't pipped yet. Has anyone ever noticed that the large breeds seem to hatch earlier or earlier than bantam breeds? I seem to remember the same thing happened the last time.

actualy she laid 11 eggs and i found her setting on them under the hen house and i put her and the eggs in my broody house . On day 12 I candled and removed 6 duds and put the rest back under her.
