Anyone with me?

LOL, yeah, that would be a lot of ducklings! Since they will be with Momma, I think you just need to make sure that they can get out by placing a stone, or log, or something inside and outside of the pond to use as a step. You might want to start a new thread on that one, just to be sure, unless someone else chimes in on this thread. I don't know what your schedual is like, but if you have the time to watch them closely to be sure they are going in and out okay, it should be fine. I think, if it were my first time with Momma raised babies, I might block off the pond from her at first until I could watch, just so that I could be sure. After that I may not be so worried with other hatches. You must have gotten yours as adults. How many do you have? Oh, and I was going to say that if they are raised with Momma, and Momma is on the skittish side with you, I would imagine the babies will be to. Did you want information other than temperment?

Looking forward to picks!

Oh, and one last thing, Annarie has Kahkis as well, and is great about sharing information. You could PM her to.

I was checking out your website, and we are going to have a little duckling named Pigeon to when he/she hatches! It's the one wiggling in the incubator right now! My daughter named her that after we candled and she said the embryo looked like a pigeon.

Day 25 for mine today - all 11 look good! One looks weird. Whereas most of them, the air cell is big and white, this one it seems as if there is membrane and veins where the others look white (air). Like the membrane and veins is up the walls of the air cell with random blorpy red gloops. No white area. But! There's still movement in that one. So, whatever. We'll see.

I have 30 eggs in the bator, Moms are :

magpie
cayuga
Buff x mallard
runner x magpie
runner x buffxmallard

Drakes are -

My swede mix
magpie x runner
or my stinky white scovie drake

I so Hope I get some pretty colors and markings! My flock has shrunk to 11 permenant adult ducks, 5 permenant scovies and then i have three ducklings i think im keeping for the flock.

And I havent seen my Pigeon in a couple of days and she was being tempermental earlier so Im pretty sure she is off on a nest somewhere. Now just have to find the sneaky girl...

I have 8 hatched with a 9th pipping. The eggs were old so I am happy with what I got. My neighbor gave me the eggs to incubate an we are splitting the ducklings.

This so great! So many hatching buddies! Everyone is having a hatch right now, Good luck!
Im sending hatching vibes your way as for the others who are incubation the same! Today is day 21!
But I am a bit worried as the air cells are not to big, what can I do? Humidity is at 48% - 50%.
