Anything I can feed to help with feather growth?

Two of my poor silkie hens are totally bald on their back from the roosters. I am in the process of getting more hens so my poor girls dont get so beat up.

I was wondering if there was anything I could feed them to help them grow their feathers back a little quicker?

Dont they also make a cover that the hens can wear so their poor little back dont get ripped up?

BOSS, or Black Oil Sunflower Seed, is a great treat and it helps promote shiny, healthy feathers.

And if you go to the Sales section of BYC, there are hen "saddles" for sale from a BYC member under "everything else."
