Anything other than a wick pad to boost humudity?

Hi guys,

Need more wick pads for a cabinet bator and I was wondering if there is anything that would work as good to boost humidity that I can purchase at home depot or ace so that I don't have to order the wick pads online...

Just get a couple large sponges.....

Any sponges? Would sponges for grouting work?

Hi Naychicks, I just worked this Out in my home made incubator because I didn't have much space... so I tried it and get 90% instantly if I ever wanted!

... Just Cut your Sponges and line them up this way... Just use a small piece of Sponge to Wedge a Gap between other sponges... They will All "wick" the Water and have more Surface area in small space to humidify... I also have it near a fan! Hope this helps...

This is what I love about BYC, I never would have realized to slize it with spacers. There is always someone out there with a great idea.
