I don't know, it's an open standard. Pretty sure it's possible to "install" it through Firefox, but it behaves more like a traditional app when using Chrome.

The old apps for Android and iOS and the PWA are essentially wrappers containing the browser version of the site, which is "responsive", it scales based on screen size. The PWA works much better than the old Android app.
