I'm looking into volunteering, so just for clarification, is a Coop-Page article the 'Chicken coops' section?

It is!I'm looking into volunteering, so just for clarification, is a Coop-Page article the 'Chicken coops' section?
Okay, thank you!It is!
This may be a stupid question, but....how do I judge contests?BYC continues to grow and grow! We're always trying to have lots of fun contests & giveaways going, improving content, etc! Well, all this takes a ton of time and work, so we decided to reach out to our community members for help. Yes, we are recruiting new volunteer BYC Project Managers (VPMs)!
What do Volunteer Project Managers do? All kinds of things, but a few examples:
What are the benefits of being a Volunteer Project Manager?
- Help start, run, manage, and judge contests
- Assist with entering data and information
- Provide support for big and small projects that help us improve BYC
Do you have what it takes to be a BYC Volunteer Project Manager? The requirements for this role are as follows:
- The opportunity to "pay-it-forward"! There were people who helped you when you were new... now's your chance to help literally millions of other chicken owners all over the world!
- Access to a private VPM section of BYC.
- Additional privileges and access for editing content, etc.
- A very special Project Manager badge.
- A FREE Premium Feather Membership (PFM) while you are an active volunteer Project Manager.
- The recognition and thanks of the owner of BYC, the BYC Moderators, and countless other peeps.
So, if you think you would make a good Volunteer Project Manager? Then come take a look at the requirements and fill in the application form HERE!
- Good knowledge of, and love for the BYC community. It helps to know how to do things like start threads, post images, links, videos, etc.
- Active BYC member with a good track record: We need peeps who can be available to help out with projects, contest running/judging, etc as needed
- Knowledge of Google docs, especially spreadsheets, isn't required but would be handy
NOTE: We are limiting the number of VPM's, so we can't accept every person who applies. That said, we'll keep track of all applications for consideration when we need help!
Also, I have very good knowledge and experience with Google docs and sheets, I even used to write short stories with it and chart out how many chickens I had!I would love to apply, but I don't know if I can because I've only just came back to BYC last month or so, and I was gone for a year with family business and moving. I would consider myself very active then, even more so now. I feel like I spend a lot of time here just reading and being bored waiting for responses, and I would love to contribute somehow. I especially love contests. I also use a tablet, phone, laptop, and will soon be installing a desktop for myself.
You rate entries on a scale of 1-10. @casportpony can explain it more. This may be a stupid question, but....how do I judge contests?
You'll be given access to a google spreadsheet where all the judges look at the photos and rate them from 1 to 10 in thwir own columnsThis may be a stupid question, but....how do I judge contests?
