[New duck mommy 2021]

4.5 weeks old!
Can’t wait to see them in another few weeks when they are more feathered. 3/4 yellows appear to be fawn/white runner mixes. The 4th yellow appears to be a white runner mix.
And the grays are turning out to be really cool too.

They are likely all mixes.

Love the update !! They grow just to fast
My incubator babies hatched
Dec 24 (1) dec 25 (2) and dec 28(1)
Lost 2 after lockdown to wrong position in the egg
Mom still has 4 eggs left due any day now.

Pardon their messiness They are filthy these days regardless of what we use in their brooder. 5.5 weeks old and turning into cool looking mix breeds. They’ve begun their puberty quaaaaaaaacxxkkkkking as well. Hoping for mostly ladies as I don’t need anymore drakes but don’t want to get rid of any of these either LOL

They are likely all mixes but my runner drake certainly got around as the 4 yellow ones all have the runner stance. LOL.

The possible mixes are from the duck breeds below. (So I guess its technically possible there's a pure fawn/white runner duckling but I wouldn't count on it)

Laying hens:
Blue swedish
Blue runner (RIP)
White layer
White crested
Mallard
Fawn/white runner

Drakes:
Magpie
Fawn/white runner
Mallard

Will keep you posted if I have any to sell. I'm not sure the hubby or I will be able to part with them since we hatched them but who knows. Too many drakes might tip the scales LOL

Well on the plus side, I bought 3 more runner hens from Snoozin Goose Ranch (after this batch hatched), so I might wind up with some cool runner mixes if I hatch again in the future!
