The EE is the biggest one of the bunch. She was bigger than the cockerels the same age. I was shocked at the size and color she laid.

The leghorn has been laying like 2 weeks?

All are 18 weeks.

The eggs are somewhat small, but hard boiled, they taste really good with really deep yellow yokes.

I am pretty sure my little SFH started laying last week - I heard an egg song in a voice I had never heard before and there was a smallish medium brown shiny beautiful egg in the nest box.

My girls were hatched on Good Friday April 14. 20 in all! That ales today their 18week bday! On this past Sunday we found our first 3 eggs. Each day 2-4 eggs I've found. But on Wednesday there was 9. Cool beans. How will I know that each and everyone of my girls laid an egg on same day? Would a hen lay more than one in a day? Or when I've gathered 20 eggs in that day would means every hen laid an egg?
