I bought 10 RiRs and 10 orpington pullet chicks may 1st. One if my orpingtons just laye her 1st egg ! One of my pullets is crowing..hummm...wonder if I will get eggs out a that one!

It varies. Earliest mine laid after squatting was a week but I've had one that a whole month went by after squatting that I finally got a egg!
