Ooh I'm not sure but I just saw in a facebook group a lady gets twin ducks all the time with her duck eggs and they successfully hatch! So exciting!Ok so I candled. Most of the eggs were day 9 with a couple being day 8 & 7.
Every single egg (27) we’re developing & alive. I had 2 surprises actually...
Didn’t notice when I put the eggs in but 2 of my Rouen eggs were bigger then normal. Well I am pretty sure I see 2 embryos in each egg
Please correct me if I am wrong but do you see it too?

Fingers tightly crossed they are viable! So after all the hassle the eggs have arrived! I called the Ag dept this morning and thet still had no record of them arriving in Honolulu, then all of a sudden I get a text that they are here in town and out for delivery!
Since they were suppose to be held for pick up, I rushed down to the post office and was able to intercept them before they were put on the truck. I have 12 silkie eggs: 6 lavender, 4 BBS and 2 white, though 6 of the eggs have completely detached aircells. I do not have great hopes for them, but I will try anyway, nothing to lose at this point. The other 6 have loose aircells, so better chances with them. These eggs are now close to 10 days old, so they will go in the incubator after only 6 hours of resting.
I am so sorry. I really feel for you, believe me.My Tolbunt Polish eggs arrived today. They were shipped last Monday - so 8 days old. I could tell eggs had broke before even opening the box. Out of 15, I have 9 unbroken eggs and 1 with a patchable crack. The 1 with the crack and 1 other have completely detached air cells. The rest of the air cells are pretty saddled. I am kind of upset because the seller charged a bit extra for “health and quality stock” (that part was okay with me - I will pay extra for this no problem) but also “quality shipping supplies” that ended up being nothing more than bubble wrap, foam egg cartons, shredded newspaper, and 2 usps boxes. The description of supplies given said supports to keep boxes from crushing and effective packing material. Also, 3 of the eggs look like pullet eggs as they are very small. I am not overly optimistic about this batch of eggs.
I did contact the seller, but will more than likely not get a refund. The seller has a program where they will sell replacement eggs for half price plus shipping to make up for broken or lost eggs. I will try my luck at a usps claim, and if that fails I guess I will eat my losses for that batch.I am so sorry. I really feel for you, believe me.
Give it a chance, you never know. I split the ones I just got today into two groups, the bad air cells and the worse air cells. They will be treated a little differently.
Did you contact the seller? You really should get a refund.
How are you planning to incubate them?
Oh so sorry! Doesn't sound like a seller I'd use again. I get they can't control usps but they can definitely control how they package etc before usps gets ahold of the box. Fingers tightly crossed you get some viable eggs out of the batch. My Tolbunt Polish eggs arrived today. They were shipped last Monday - so 8 days old.
