April 2022 hatch-a-long (non-Easter, and Easter welcome)

Pics
This isn’t my first post about my mystery eggs, but I have seven on day eleven. 🤞🏼 all hatch. There were originally nine. I’m excited seeing as how it’s my first hatch and I have no idea what is hatching. I’m certain they’re chicken eggs though😆

My broody buff orphington is sitting on them. Poor thing has been broody since Valentine’s Day. I tried breaking her and had no luck. Then came my sister with fertilized eggs she found. Figured why not, but just hope my hen makes out okay. Still eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom.

Pics are a couple from day 7. Lots of movement now!
An add on to my mystery eggs: My sister says she knows which chicken was laying in the nest the day she discovered the eggs. The photo is below. It is the speckled looking chicken. We all know how multiple chickens will lay in the same nest, so there could always be a combo but the chickens and the rooster in the photo are her neighborhood flock🙂 Any ideas on the breeds? Obviously mixed breed but curious about the speckles. The eggs are white.

Rooster looks like it has Game in it. Seeing it is kind of spangled, maybe Hamburg or Spitzhauben?

I am currently trying to decide which eggs to place in my incubator.
I want to hatch one hens clutch and then a different clutch.
I'm not real sure who's eggs belong to who.
I thought I did until I did some research..
Now I'm all confused...
Anyway, a clutch from this photo will go into the incubator shortly .
My last batch was better than 60% successful, first time using an incubator.
