I have 1 Cochin egg under the broody.

I am going to keep an eye on my roosters for a late April set, they are 4 months old. I still think that will be too young. But I am hopeful. I may have to wait until late May to get fertile eggs.

What breeds? I've had some cockrells that I felt might be fertile as chicks!

oh ok. it showed me like a grid of 3 across and 3 down. it is the little grey (whitish) and black one

You know, really, I am not sure. I put 24 eggs in my incubator, several different hens. Roo is either Light Brahma or Light Sussex. I purchased 11 week old chicks that were a mixed bag of supposedly pure breed females. I ended up with this rooster. He proved himself very early to be a great rooster. So we kept him.
All of the chicks are cross with him except one little game chick.
I really wish someone could help me identify breed.

oh so a little mix! it is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!!!!! and yes that one.
