April 2023 Hatch-A-Long

I had 9 chicks left from the April chicks, 2 were male. I just processed them. They were a good size for the age. 7 females left.

Here's one of mine from April, I'm conditioning him for Ohio National

I only have a few chicks from April that I kept, just one or two Olive eggers if my banding system wasn’t messed up. The bearded blue is looking sooooo close!!!

I ended up keeping one roo from this batch, poor Baby Kevin ended up being a turd like his dad. So far Mr Fancy isn’t bothering anyone and he was too cool to cull. Silkie x Sicilian Buttercup I believe. I was so sure they were SB eggs, larger white ones

This mystery came from the second SB egg and it’s throwing me for a huge loop. What is itttttt???? Insanely slow maturing roo? Hermaphrodite??? Strange hen???

Looks like Saddle feathers so I say male. He is kinda funny looking! The barred guy is gorgeous though
