Also, I blame all of YOU for this! I barely slept after my night shift. Because all that would go through my head is eggs and hatching!

Checked all my eggs, and I almost cried in relief to see so many little swimmers in there.

What a relief! I've been thinking about you and looking forward to hearing your update. I'm so delighted it's a positive one.

3 are out. Both of my EE babies. And one silkie for the guy I hatch for. Both EE babies are blue with a bit of yellow. The 2nd one has more yellow and light eyeliner. Most of the other non shipped eggs are pipped. Only 1 shipped one has pipped. Day 20 starts in about 2.5 hrs

48 hours in the incubator and zero sign of any development!
My past two hatches (all I can go by) I’ve seen some action. Slight veining and a spot at least at this point. Needless to say I’m concerned. They all look clear! Obviously it’s early and I’ll keep checking but oh my goodness I’m worried. Eggs were shipped and got here within 24 hours and packed so well! Blah.
On a bright note my dog hung out with the 7 week olds outside today and did so well! She’s a reactive sassy pup but a herding dog and she might have found her ‘job’ watching the chickens

Give it another day or two. It's difficult to see anything this early.

I made a similar mistake with one of my batches, and it turned out my candling light needed a new battery!

Lots of early hatching I feel like between this and the Easter thread! I have one out and several pips.

Chicks from my last hatch went home today…. Which is good cause I needed those brooders.
